Things GOD will NEVER say to YOU

God will never tell you to deny his son, Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

There are many things in the world trying to convince God’s people that Jesus is not the Savior; however, you can be assured that any voice that says this is not from Heaven.  He would NEVER ask you to place your faith in anyone or thing but Jesus.

Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

If we deny Jesus before men, he will deny us before his father in Heaven..Think about that.

God will never demean or demoralize you.

Hebrews 12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

God will convict us.  He will definitely rebuke us, but he will never demean his children.  God loves us; he is our father, so if you hear a demeaning voice, it is not of God.

God will not tell you to sin.

Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

God’s voice will NOT entice you to sin.  If you ever hear a voice telling you that you are fine living in sin, it is definitely not GOD’s voice.  For example, if someone is telling you that it is okay to live a life dishonoring God then you can rest assured this is not GOD.  If you are living a life of lies, and you feel you are being led to continue this, it is not GOD leading you.  Seek God’s face.

God will not tell us to cause division.

Proverbs 6:19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

God wants us to be in unity, not divided.  He encourages us to gather together.  His words to us are encouraging.  He is for us not against us.  This certainly would not be him talking to us.  He wants us to love one another, and work together.

God will never tell us to hate another person.

Matthew 5:44, 45 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

God has never encouraged hate to anyone.  God is love.  In his words he says to love thy neighbor as thyself.  This is definitely not God if you are being told this.  Beware of any voice that is telling you this.

Know that HE will not lead you to do

 anything

that is against

his written word...

Of Hens and Humans

I saw a lot of human characteristics and actions while I sat there on the stoop at my Mama's Ruby's house.  You can learn a lot watching the happenings in a barnyard.   I know I did watching the many adventures of my grandparent's roosters and chickens.   This brought to me, after all of these years, in a featherly way what is common and wrong in the lives of people.   We are a lot like those birds. I have a beautiful group of chickens and roosters. They are all different varieties and colors.   Each one has its own style and personality.   I named one of those beautiful hens, Ellie Mae.  She was a victim of the other chickens’ unfair treatment.  She was a beautiful hen.  I would sit and watch her walk around the grass.  I was sitting on the porch cracking some pecans one day.  We were going to make some pies.   I noticed that sweet Ellie Mae had some feathers missing.   L ater that day, I saw what had ha...

JUST DUST

JUST DUST As I peered down the grocer aisle, there she was.. Standing there with her red pigtails, and fancy hair bows. I wanted to melt into the floor, and fade into the tile.  I was wearing my polyester pant suit that my Aunt Lucy made me... She was wearing store bought clothes; it was just one of the reasons  she thought she was better than me.      And well, some kids at school thought if you didn't have  those fancy store bought things that you didn't match up.   I was just not good enough.  See, my family didn't have all those fancy  things that money could afford. My daddy was a hard worker. He worked from daylight to dark.. He was a carpenter.    My Mama and Daddy gave me and  my brothers a wonderful, loving home.   They provided for us well.  They took us to church. ...

No Not One

NO NOT ONE I was sitting on the doorstep with my friend Sophie one Saturday evening, and I said, “Sophie, ask your Mama if you spend the night at my house tonight.” “Hey, great idea”, she said.   We were only seven years old, and having a sleep over was way cool.   Then she said, “Oh wait, tomorrow is Sunday.   Are you going to go to church?” I said, “Well, yes, of course I am, but you can go with us.   Come on, you will like Sunday School.   It is fun.” “Oh, I don’t know”, she said.   “Why, don’t you want to go”? She said, “I don’t think God wants me in Heaven, I have been too bad.”     I giggled at Sophie, and she gasped..I quickly apologized And gave her a hug..and said: My dear friend My Dear Lord and Savior Gave his precious son’s life blood for you   All of us are too bad for Heaven… But NONE of us are too bad To be FORGIVEN...
