MY GOD IS BIGGER

DO YOU KNOW JESUS?

You answer me by saying...

well, I go to church at Wolf Springs Missionary Baptist Church, or Clements,

or whatever the name of the church is that you attend..

Nooooo..

I didn't ask you

where you went to church...

I asked...

     DO YOU KNOW JESUS?

DO YOU KNOW HOW BIG GOD IS??

HAVE BEEN SAVED BY

THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB?

Do you KNOW if you closed your eyes in death this day...

that you WILL go to HEAVEN ??

ARE YOU LIVING FOR HIM?

Do you think you have problems that are
weighing you down?

If you are strolling through life,
worrying day to day,
worrying about this world
and its garbage that is going on...

YOU HAVE PROBLEMS, my friend.

DO YOU KNOW HOW BIG MY GOD IS ???

MY GOD IS BIGGER!!!!!!

HE IS IN CONTROL !!!

In Philippians 4:19 - Paul says,

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

In Philippians 4:6 -  Paul says, Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

If we live by faith - the faith that is talked about in the Bible - that mustard seed faith -  in HIS promise, it will be virtually IMPOSSIBLE for our anxiety to exist.

GOD TELLS US NOT TO WORRY ABOUT OUR FUTURE !!!

MY GOD IS WAY BIGGER than any

problems

of this old world !!!!

HE CAN HANDLE ANYTHING !!!

We should follow the pattern that Paul laid out for us.

We need to STAND on GOD'S WORD and the promises of GRACE to battle ANY anxiety or worry we have.

Isaiah 41:10 says

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

If you are in FEAR or have anxiety of what is going on around you...

SEEK GOD'S FACE... Ask him to draw you closer to him...

because HE has never left you...YOU LEFT HIM..

Maybe you have never truly accepted him..

You need to give your heart and life to his service.

He is calling you today; he can give you peace in the storms of life.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

May God be with you; I pray whatever the situation that you find peace.

Have a Blessed day.

Of Hens and Humans

I saw a lot of human characteristics and actions while I sat there on the stoop at my Mama's Ruby's house.  You can learn a lot watching the happenings in a barnyard.   I know I did watching the many adventures of my grandparent's roosters and chickens.   This brought to me, after all of these years, in a featherly way what is common and wrong in the lives of people.   We are a lot like those birds. I have a beautiful group of chickens and roosters. They are all different varieties and colors.   Each one has its own style and personality.   I named one of those beautiful hens, Ellie Mae.  She was a victim of the other chickens’ unfair treatment.  She was a beautiful hen.  I would sit and watch her walk around the grass.  I was sitting on the porch cracking some pecans one day.  We were going to make some pies.   I noticed that sweet Ellie Mae had some feathers missing.   L ater that day, I saw what had ha...

JUST DUST

JUST DUST As I peered down the grocer aisle, there she was.. Standing there with her red pigtails, and fancy hair bows. I wanted to melt into the floor, and fade into the tile.  I was wearing my polyester pant suit that my Aunt Lucy made me... She was wearing store bought clothes; it was just one of the reasons  she thought she was better than me.      And well, some kids at school thought if you didn't have  those fancy store bought things that you didn't match up.   I was just not good enough.  See, my family didn't have all those fancy  things that money could afford. My daddy was a hard worker. He worked from daylight to dark.. He was a carpenter.    My Mama and Daddy gave me and  my brothers a wonderful, loving home.   They provided for us well.  They took us to church. ...

No Not One

NO NOT ONE I was sitting on the doorstep with my friend Sophie one Saturday evening, and I said, “Sophie, ask your Mama if you spend the night at my house tonight.” “Hey, great idea”, she said.   We were only seven years old, and having a sleep over was way cool.   Then she said, “Oh wait, tomorrow is Sunday.   Are you going to go to church?” I said, “Well, yes, of course I am, but you can go with us.   Come on, you will like Sunday School.   It is fun.” “Oh, I don’t know”, she said.   “Why, don’t you want to go”? She said, “I don’t think God wants me in Heaven, I have been too bad.”     I giggled at Sophie, and she gasped..I quickly apologized And gave her a hug..and said: My dear friend My Dear Lord and Savior Gave his precious son’s life blood for you   All of us are too bad for Heaven… But NONE of us are too bad To be FORGIVEN...
