BLESSED NOT OPPRESSED

I get really sad when I turn on the television today.  

I wonder if people own a Bible much less even read it.  

It says LOVE THY NEIGHBOR as THYSELF !!!

   Get out your Bible..
dust it off; now look up 
Matthew 22: 34-40


[34] But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
[35] Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
[36] Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
[37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
[38] This is the first and great commandment.
[39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
[40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Now don't skip over the other parts in that verse..Did you notice before that..I highlighted those too..if you didn't notice.  


Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

                              ...not I said..or Joey said or Susy said..

                             or the person across the street...

JESUS SAID!!

I tell you what..this world is full of NOTHING but the reverse of that verse.  

All of this tearing down of things, and burning up stuff, and pointing fingers.  
Talking ugly about one another.  All of this killing and being ugly has got to stop.   
This is not right.  I wasn't raised to be ugly to people, any people.  
We were taught to be nice..just nice.

Don't get me wrong, I realize there are some people it is hard to be nice to...BUT that is what PRAY is for.
ASK GOD TO HELP YOU...WE ARE NOT ALONE !!!

My Mama told us if we didn't have something nice to say..don't say anything !!       

You walk around saying how you are so down and out.  

Don't you see how blessed we ALL ARE!!!

This country has been in the middle of a PANDEMIC..

ARE YOU SICK???  

HAVE YOU BEEN SICK?? 

If we are not sick, and if you lived through it ..

THANK GOD !!!

Becuase it is ONLY By the GRACE OF GOD.. 

YOU ARE BLESSED...NOT OPPRESSED !!!  

You better be THANKING GOD, not complaining.  

THINK ON THIS!!!

Thank God for you health..your life..

and your family..

Thank him for breathing, opening your eyes this morning and the ability to walk.  

Some CANNOT do these things !!!

Of Hens and Humans

I saw a lot of human characteristics and actions while I sat there on the stoop at my Mama's Ruby's house. You can learn a lot watching the happenings in a barnyard. I know I did watching the many adventures of my grandparent's roosters and chickens. This brought to me, after all of these years, in a featherly way what is common and wrong in the lives of people. JUST DUST As I peered down the grocer aisle, there she was.. Standing there with her red pigtails, and fancy hair bows. I wanted to melt into the floor, and fade into the tile.
