Marriage

Love and marriage.  Your life…Your love…

Where is GOD in your life?

IN YOUR MARRIAGE..

Do you incorporate HIM into your marriage?
He should be the center.

What about in your relationship with your husband?

Do you step back and give your husband
the ability to be the head of your home?

READ YOUR BIBLE

NOW let me say this..
I am not telling you to be a rug under his feet..

I said he is to be the lead in your home.

For it to be Biblical, you are to be his helpmate.
He is to love you as Christ is loves the church.

You also should love him as you LOVE yourself.
You are his help mate..

He is the LEADER of your home.

Read these verses:

Ephesians 5:22-24

I Timothy 2:11-15

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God.

Also, for husbands or wives who still run to your parents...

Don't run to Mama or Daddy to help you with things..
You are married now..
They may have helped you BEFORE you got married.  It is NOT their place to buy you things.  You are married now.
Do not disrespect your spouse by doing this.
GROW UP!!!

I Corinthins 7:3-4

I can hear some of you now...

You are still saying that I am telling you to let him walk on you...

No, I didn't say that..

I am saying you are to be a helper to him..a soft place for him to

land after a day at work, and vice versa..

Genesis 2:18

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

As husband and wife we are a couple..We are supposed to work together..

Couple meeting two..to-gether..

LOVE ONE ANOTHER..Be strong in your bond.

Mark 10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not

man put asunder.

Of Hens and Humans

I saw a lot of human characteristics and actions while I sat there on the stoop at my Mama's Ruby's house.  You can learn a lot watching the happenings in a barnyard.   I know I did watching the many adventures of my grandparent's roosters and chickens.   This brought to me, after all of these years, in a featherly way what is common and wrong in the lives of people.   We are a lot like those birds. I have a beautiful group of chickens and roosters. They are all different varieties and colors.   Each one has its own style and personality.   I named one of those beautiful hens, Ellie Mae.  She was a victim of the other chickens’ unfair treatment.  She was a beautiful hen.  I would sit and watch her walk around the grass.  I was sitting on the porch cracking some pecans one day.  We were going to make some pies.   I noticed that sweet Ellie Mae had some feathers missing.   L ater that day, I saw what had ha...

JUST DUST

JUST DUST As I peered down the grocer aisle, there she was.. Standing there with her red pigtails, and fancy hair bows. I wanted to melt into the floor, and fade into the tile.  I was wearing my polyester pant suit that my Aunt Lucy made me... She was wearing store bought clothes; it was just one of the reasons  she thought she was better than me.      And well, some kids at school thought if you didn't have  those fancy store bought things that you didn't match up.   I was just not good enough.  See, my family didn't have all those fancy  things that money could afford. My daddy was a hard worker. He worked from daylight to dark.. He was a carpenter.    My Mama and Daddy gave me and  my brothers a wonderful, loving home.   They provided for us well.  They took us to church. ...

No Not One

NO NOT ONE I was sitting on the doorstep with my friend Sophie one Saturday evening, and I said, “Sophie, ask your Mama if you spend the night at my house tonight.” “Hey, great idea”, she said.   We were only seven years old, and having a sleep over was way cool.   Then she said, “Oh wait, tomorrow is Sunday.   Are you going to go to church?” I said, “Well, yes, of course I am, but you can go with us.   Come on, you will like Sunday School.   It is fun.” “Oh, I don’t know”, she said.   “Why, don’t you want to go”? She said, “I don’t think God wants me in Heaven, I have been too bad.”     I giggled at Sophie, and she gasped..I quickly apologized And gave her a hug..and said: My dear friend My Dear Lord and Savior Gave his precious son’s life blood for you   All of us are too bad for Heaven… But NONE of us are too bad To be FORGIVEN...
