YOU CAN WITHSTAND CHANGE...WITH GOD



On January 27, 1997 my world changed...

 our whole was family changed..

 each one of us looked at life different...

 my husband and I

 were broken internally -- Changed forever.  

 It was a pain that would be with us for the rest of our lives.  

 A part of our heart was gone and nothing would 

 ever bring it back.  

 Our youngest son, Joseph drowned that day.  






1 Samuel 1:27-28 

27 For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him:
28 Therefore also I have lent him to the Lord; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the Lord. And he worshipped the Lord there.

The pain of losing our son on that day has 
been the hardest grief I have 
had to deal with in my life. 

 Had it not been for been for my having 

 GOD 
in my heart and life 

 I do not believe I would have lived 

 and made it through myself.  

GOD has helped me make it 

 through some of the 

 hardest times of my life.

HE stood by ME..

 HE is MY SAVIOR..



without HIM....

 I would fall

 BUT WITH HIM...
I CAN STAND ON MOUNTAINS...
WITH HIM





WE CAN STAND ON MOUNTAINS !!

DO YOU KNOW HIM? 

 Have you met my savior?

 His name is Jesus...

 He can make your life complete, and 

 make your walk here on this earth easier.  

 If you don't know him..You can..


 Everyone who is born is a sinner..
Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is non righteous, no, not one

 Romans 3:23 For all have sinner and come short of the glory of God

 Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned
(the one man was Adam)

 Because we are sinners, we deserve death, but Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and was buried in a tomb, and rose again and had power over death.  It is his free gift to us.  He loves us so much and there is no other way to salvation except by him. 

    

 Romans 6:23 
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.   

 If you believe with your heart and confess with our moth then he will save us.  His reward is salvation and eternal life with him in Heaven.   

 Rom 10:9-10

 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:13

 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you are a sinner ...
please seek God and repent of your sins, and ask him into your heart. 

Good works cannot save you..
God is in the saving business. 
    
   PRAYER - Talking to God.

READING HIS WORD - God talking to you


Witnessing - You talking to others about God.  



I pray that if you 

 are not saved...

 You will seek him 

 and be saved...

Of Hens and Humans

  I saw a lot of human characteristics and actions while I sat there on the stoop at my Mama's Ruby's house.  You can learn a lot watching the happenings in a barnyard.   I know I did watching the many adventures of my grandparent's roosters and chickens.   This brought to me, after all of these years, in a featherly way what is common and wrong in the lives of people.   We are a lot like those birds. JUST DUST

JUST DUST As I peered down the grocer aisle, there she was.. Standing there with her red pigtails, and fancy hair bows. I wanted to melt into the floor, and fade into the tile.  I was wearing my polyester pant suit that my Aunt Lucy made me... No Not One

NO NOT ONE I was sitting on the doorstep with my friend Sophie one Saturday evening, and I said, “Sophie, ask your Mama if you spend the night at my house tonight.” “Hey, great idea”, she said.   We were only seven years old, and having a sleep over was way cool.   Then she said, “Oh wait, tomorrow is Sunday.   Are you going to go to church?” I said, “Well, yes, of course I am, but you can go with us.   Come on, you will like Sunday School.   It is fun.” “Oh, I don’t know”, she said.   “Why, don’t you want to go”? She said, “I don’t think God wants me in Heaven, I have been too bad.”     I giggled at Sophie, and she gasped..I quickly apologized And gave her a hug..and said: My dear friend My Dear Lord and Savior Gave his precious son’s life blood for you   All of us are too bad for Heaven… But NONE of us are too bad To be FORGIVEN...
