TOO MUCH, LORD !!!

There are times in our lives.. we face things that darken our spirits

We face tragedies that bring us down...

Things that bring us to our knees, and sometimes

                                    EVEN to our face..

Have you ever had that happen...Something that you felt was so

hard that you felt you were never going to recover from?

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN SO down????

                          SO down YOU DIDNT THINK

                                                YOU WOULD COME BACK UP??

You thought..okay this time...

this time... I can't go any further.

THIS TIME, GOD...  YOU HAVE GIVEN ME TOO MUCH!!

MORE THAN I CAN HANDLE !!!!!

My plate is full..

IS IT???

Well.....is it???

Is your plate full, or is it that you have

chosen yourself a small plate,

and that is why

YOUR plate is full.

Small         Large

Is it possible that

YOU

ARE HOLDING

YOURSELF

BACK??

Surely not, you say..

Maybe if you ask God to help you,

he will strengthen you

(give you the plate HE wants you to have)

the plate YOU can handle with

HIS HELP...

I Corinthians 10:13

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

BECAUSE BELIEVE ME

YOU CAN HANDLE ANYTHING...

with GOD BY YOUR SIDE..

 The possibilities are

ENDLESS

*******************************************

II Chronicles 15:7

Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

DO not give up...

He has you...

YOU ARE NOT DONE YET!!!

GOD is the steadfast in any storm...HE will always be with you, and never forsake you...

                                                      THE BIBLE SAYS:

Joshua 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Pray without ceasing..

God will never leave you nor forsake you..

May God Bless and keep you,

He will you know...

Until next time,

Lisa G.

Of Hens and Humans

I saw a lot of human characteristics and actions while I sat there on the stoop at my Mama's Ruby's house.  You can learn a lot watching the happenings in a barnyard.   I know I did watching the many adventures of my grandparent's roosters and chickens.   This brought to me, after all of these years, in a featherly way what is common and wrong in the lives of people.   We are a lot like those birds. I have a beautiful group of chickens and roosters. They are all different varieties and colors.   Each one has its own style and personality.   I named one of those beautiful hens, Ellie Mae.  She was a victim of the other chickens’ unfair treatment.  She was a beautiful hen.  I would sit and watch her walk around the grass.  I was sitting on the porch cracking some pecans one day.  We were going to make some pies.   I noticed that sweet Ellie Mae had some feathers missing.   L ater that day, I saw what had ha...

JUST DUST

JUST DUST As I peered down the grocer aisle, there she was.. Standing there with her red pigtails, and fancy hair bows. I wanted to melt into the floor, and fade into the tile.  I was wearing my polyester pant suit that my Aunt Lucy made me... She was wearing store bought clothes; it was just one of the reasons  she thought she was better than me.      And well, some kids at school thought if you didn't have  those fancy store bought things that you didn't match up.   I was just not good enough.  See, my family didn't have all those fancy  things that money could afford. My daddy was a hard worker. He worked from daylight to dark.. He was a carpenter.    My Mama and Daddy gave me and  my brothers a wonderful, loving home.   They provided for us well.  They took us to church. ...

No Not One

NO NOT ONE I was sitting on the doorstep with my friend Sophie one Saturday evening, and I said, “Sophie, ask your Mama if you spend the night at my house tonight.” “Hey, great idea”, she said.   We were only seven years old, and having a sleep over was way cool.   Then she said, “Oh wait, tomorrow is Sunday.   Are you going to go to church?” I said, “Well, yes, of course I am, but you can go with us.   Come on, you will like Sunday School.   It is fun.” “Oh, I don’t know”, she said.   “Why, don’t you want to go”? She said, “I don’t think God wants me in Heaven, I have been too bad.”     I giggled at Sophie, and she gasped..I quickly apologized And gave her a hug..and said: My dear friend My Dear Lord and Savior Gave his precious son’s life blood for you   All of us are too bad for Heaven… But NONE of us are too bad To be FORGIVEN...
